The RTMS G4 detector was tested to the stringent Florida TERL specifications and successfully passed the requirements. As a result, the RTMS G4 is now certified for use in the State of Florida. (see certification letter)

2-15-09 Impath introduces complete line of H.264 encoders

Impath Networks has introduced its i5000 series of multi-stream, multi-protocol H.264 encoders. Single channel, triple stream H.264 encoders are offered in fully NEMA rated versions, semi-hardened and non-hardened offerings. Video analytics are also available in certain models. Multi-protocol selection (H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4) allow migration to H.264 while utilizing existing investment in head-end decoding and software solutions.

1-5-09 Impath Encoders and Decoders listed on the Florida APL

Blackhawk Enterprises is pleased to announce that Impath's i4000 series encoders and i1000 series decoders are listed on the formal ITS APL. The encoders, previously listed on the APL due to the ITB contract, underwent extensive 3rd party independent NEMA testing on temperature, voltage, vibration, shock and transients as defined in the FDOT specifications for Video Encoders.

9-02-08 Vicon Domes listed on the Florida APL

Blackhawk Enterprises is pleased to announce that Vicon SVFT-PRS and SVFT-W series domes are listed on the formal APL. The domes, which have previously been listed on the APL due to the ITB contract, had to undergo 3rd party independent NEMA testing on temperature, vibration, shock and transients, as well as wind load testing as defined in the FDOT Specifications for CCTV.

7-9-08 Impath introduces MPG2/MPG4 dual stream encoder (go to datasheet)

Impath Networks has recently introduced a dual stream MPG2/MPG4 combination encoder, the i4124. This product allows simultaneous streaming of both high bandwidth MPG2, suitable for TMC applications, and lower bandwidth MPG4 for sharing across bandwidth limited links.

1-25-07 iMPath Clientvue MVT NTCIP Control (go to datasheet)

iMPath Networks has enhanced their Clientvue MVT MPEG2 software decoder to include NTCIP PTZ drivers for camera control. iMPath Networks now offers the only MPEG2 software decoder that can be used with ISO13818-1 (MPEG2 transport streams) and ISO13818-2 (MPEG2 elementary streams) encoders where the CCTV cameras are NTCIP. This capability allows any field technician the ability to plug into any Ethernet port, and view the video and control the camera - such as during initial installation and test, or during troubleshooting at the cabinet.

Blackhawk Enterprises has entered into a non-exclusive resale agreement with Treehaven Technologies to resell their Roadway Vision Systems Field Box. The Roadway Vision Systems field box is a rack-mounted local control panel for CCTV Cabinets, providing power to the camera, as well as local interface for a laptop or joystick for PTZ control and video monitoring.

Blackhawk now offers 1 year advance replacement on Vicon products

12-12-07 Blackhawk is pleased to announce it's new status as a Vicon platinum dealer. All Vicon orders placed with Blackhawk will now offer a one year advance replacement policy (previously 3 months) from date of invoice. The three year beneficial use warranty from date of installation remains the same.
