Ethernet Switches
Ethernet and Gigabit Switches form the backbone of the IP systems used in ITS systems. Field devices must be hardened, provide the required interfaces (100BaseTx, 100BaseFx and Gig-E ports), and support the distance/dB loss of the fiber network. The switches must support IGMPv2 for video applications, and should be fully managed.
